Stegell, laborer for W.P.A., 50, living with wife Belle, 43; James, laborer in cotton mill, 19; Donald, 17; Mary, 13; son C. W., 12; Lloyd, 10, and Betty, 8. Everyone was born in North Carolina. They lived in the same house in 1935. Living next door is Belle's father, C. L. Beeker, 73, and Belle's mother, Lulu, 69, and Belle's sister, Elizabeth Snyder, 29, with her husband Sidney Snyder, 30, and their children.
