LEXINGTON -- Mrs. Belle Beeker Stegall, 83, of 504 Summit Drive died Tuesday at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. M.L. Walters and the Rev. D.W. Digh officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
Surviving are sons, Jimmy Stegall of Winston-Salem, Loyd and Donald Stegall of Lexington; daughters, Mrs. Grady Lawrence of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Hal Barton of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; brothers Glen Beeker of Tyro, Johnny Beeker of Burlington; sisters, Mrs. Sidney Snyder of Tyro, Mrs. Walter Everhart of Welcome; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. The family will be at Piedmont Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.
