3. Census in 1850 in Menallen Twp., Adams, PA. ⁴ The 1850 census recorded George Golden [sic, as written by census taker], farmer, 30, living with wife Sarah, 30. Living next door was Jacob Golden, no occupation, 58, with his wife Mary, 59. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.

4. Sarah Goulden, widow of George Gulden, waived her right as Adminstrator of his estate and granted rights to John Hoover of Butler Township. In probate documents John Beecher is a witness and buys many of George Gulden's items in estate sale records. on 21 Jun 1851 in Menallen Twp., Adams, PA. ³
