5. Newspaper: Evening News: Golden Wedding Jubilee, 12 Dec 1922, Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA. ¹⁹ York, Dec 12 - Mr. and Mrs. David H. G. Beecher, of this city, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last week, when their home at 873 Prospect street, was the scene of an interesting gathering, their children, grandchildren and others gathering to extend their congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Beecher were again united in marriage by their son, Franklin M. Beecher, a notary public. John Gobrecht, of Pittsburgh, made a short address, which was responded to by the "bridegroom." Many handsome presents were given the happy couple. Mr. Beecher has been active in local politics and during the administration of Mayor M. B. Gibson was a member of the Common Council from the Twelfth Ward. He was also a city assessor some years ago. At the time of his marriage he was a cigar manufacturer.

8. Obituary: York Daily Record: obituary of Catherine Beecher on 18 Sep 1926 in York, York, PA. ¹⁴ Mrs. Catherine Beecher Mrs. Catherine Beecher, wife of D. H. B. Beecher, died yesterday morning at 12:30 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Frank, 802 East Prospect street. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. She was 73 years old. The deceased was a member of St. Paul's United Evangelical church. She leaves her husband, two sons, Calvin M. and Franklin M. Beecher; three daughters, Mrs. H. T. Frank, with whom she lived: Mrs. George Nichol and Mrs. John Paules; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, Monday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. Dr. W. H. Egge, pastor of St. Paul's United Evangelical church, offciatlng. Burial will be made In Mt. Rose Cemetery.
