Census in 1930 in Ephrata Twp., Lancaster, PA. 13 The 1930 census recorded Henry Berger [sic - indexed wrong due to poor handwriting in Census], truck farmer, 35, living with wife Lille Berger, 31; Emma Berger, 10; Minnie Beacher, 8; Ada Beacher, 5; Jacob Beacher, 2; and Mary Beacher, 1. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

Henry Jr., 4; and Warren, 1 month. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. They lived in the same place in 1935.

8. Obituary: Intelligencer Journal on 26 May 2005 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. 11 Emma S. Eberly, 85, of 2499 Zerbe Rd., Narvon, formerly of East Earl and Westfield, PA, died Tuesday evening, May 24, 2005 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. "Pete" Eberly in 1990. Born in Murrell, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Sensenig Bicher. She was a seamstress, working for the former Price Sewing Factory and the former SLC Fashions for most of her working years. A member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, she enjoyed traveling, reading and going to the mountains. Surviving are her children: Miriam B., married to Amos Kulp, Narvon; Melvin, married to Ellie Thomas Eberly, New Holland; Harold B., married to Ruth Ann High Eberly, East Earl and Alice, married to Earl N. Martin, Narvon; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; sisters, Mary, married to John Hoover, Stevens, Edna, married to Titus Eberly, Elkland and Elsie, married to James Eberly, Reinholds and brothers, Jacob Bicher, Bethel, Henry, married to Mae Stover Bicher, Myerstown and Warren Bicher, Fredericksburg. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Martin and sisters, Minnie Bicher and Ada Eberly. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 10 AM at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church with Pastor Chester Yoder and Bishop Wilmer Leaman officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday from 9 to 10 AM. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements.


Emma married Paul Good Eberly, son of Joseph Martin Eberly and Alice Shirk Good, on 13 Apr 1940 in , Lancaster, PA.1 (Paul Good Eberly was born on 27 Feb 1919 in East Earl Twp., Lancaster, PA,7 16 17 died on 12 Oct 1990 in , Lancaster, PA 11 17 and was buried in Bowmansville: Bowmansville Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, PA 17.)
