The post office was Mahanoy City.

2. Book: The Geist Relation, 1940. 4
Edward Snyder (7-5) a grandson of Mary Geist-Eisenhart (11-3) was born at Lost Creek, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania on 1870 and died at the same place in 1873. He is buried in the I. O. O. F. cemetery at Shenandoah, Schuylkill County and has a tombstone to mark his grave.
