They had six children: (1) Samuel, of San Francisco, Cal.; (2) William, a miller, of Fargo, N. D., whose sons are Frank and Lloyd; (3) James E., an enterprising dealer in farming implements and carriages, of Kreidersville, who was born June 3, 1846, married Amelia Wanamaker, and has children: Edgar E., born June 16, 1874, married Salome J. Steiner; Raymond S., born Aug. 15, 1885; (4) Lizzie F., born Dec. 22, 1887, married Edgar L. Smith; Lizzie, married Bryon Ruppert; (5) Ada, married Willoughby E. Miller; (6) Asa G. Knerr, a rural letter carrier, of Allentown, who married Laura Knauss, and had children: Asa, Harry, Clarence, Estella, Mabel, Ada, and Effie. Owen married Susan Gettz on 10 Nov 1843.1 2 (Susan Gettz was born on 28 May 1821 in , Union County, Pennsylvania, USA 1 8 and died on 28 Feb 1859 1.) Owen next married Mary Ann Hartman about 1860.
