Obituary: Altoona Tribune: obituary of John Wilmer Beecher on 16 Jul 1925 in Altoona, Blair, PA. 3 John Wilmer Beecher of 200 East Fourth avenue died at 3:15 o'clock yesterday morning at the Mercy hospital. Death was attributed to a nervous breakdown from which he suffered for the past year. The decased was a native of this city, and was born July 14, 1886, the son of Adam (deceased) and Christine Beecher. Surviving are his mother, his wife, Mrs. Pauline Beecher, and one daughter. Two brothers, Emory and Edgar Beecher, both of the city, and a sister, Miss Olive, at home, also survive. He was employed as a crane director in the Twelfth street wheel shop. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church and the P. R. R. Relief association. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at his home. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
