Obituary: Gettysburg Times: Mrs. Sentz Dies in Littlestown on 16 Dec 1937 in Gettysburg, Adams, PA. 6 Mrs. Nettie Louise Sentz, 65, widow of David Sentz. died Wednesday afternoon at 1:25 o'clock from a heart attack at the home of her son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sentz, 28 Newark street. Littlestown. Her husband died May 8. 1930.

The deceased had been in her usual health recently but on Tuesday evening complained of feeling ill. She remained in bed Wednesday and after lunch at noon it was decided to consult a physician. Upon the return of her son from the doctor's office she was found dead in bed. Mrs. Sentz had suffered a stroke about a year ago and a light stroke recently but apparently recovered from both.

She was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Emma Margaret (Long) Beecher and was a native of Adams county. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Harney.

She formerly resided on Stratton street. Following the death of her husband she made her home with her son in Littlestown.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Charles Little. Gettysburg: Ernest R., Littlestown; Harry B.. Ruxton. Maryland: John E..-Gettysburg; Earl D.. Littlestown. with whom she resided: William G.. Littlestown R. D.; Guy S.. Waynesboro; Edgar P.. Gettysburg: Donald T.. Williamsport; two sisters, Mrs. Mazie Pittenturf. Gettysburg: Mrs. John Adams, Rome. New York; one brother. Harry Beecher. Detroit: 40 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services from the H. B. Bender and son funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Herbert Schmidt and the Rev. D. S. Kammerer, Littlestown. officiating. Interment in Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the Bender funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
