He was born in York, Pa on Jul. 8, 1893, son of the late Daniel and Laura Beecher.

He enlisted in the US Army May 10 1917 and was a Sergeant when discharge Apr 17 1919

He had a Ice Business in 1930 in Upper Darby moved to Philadelphia about 1934 was Sexton at Richardson Memorial Presbyterian Church. About 1942 he started to work for the Victor Coal & Fuel Co. He was there 25 years

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, the former Beatrice Elizabeth Rambo, daughter and son-in-law Beatrice V. (Ginny) Joseph Pilling Philadelphia, son and daughter-in-law Henry and Iva Beecher Ardsley, Pa seven grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Aug 24 1973, at the Spencer T Videon Funeral Home. Drexel Hill, Delaware, PA Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery. Drexel Hill, Delaware, PA.
