Nickol, 88, a former York resident who lived at the Odd Fellows Home in Middletown, died Thursday at the home. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the late Katie I. Beecher Nickol, and his second wife, the late Mabel R. Hoke Nickol. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel at the Odd Fellows Home. Friends may call there from 9 a.m. There also will be a viewing immediately preceding burial, about 11:30 a.m. at Mount Rose Cemetery. Reber Funeral Home, Middletown, has charge of funeral arrangements.

George married Katie Irene Beecher, daughter of David Henry Gilbert Beecher and Catherine Druck, on 27 Jun 1912 in York, York, PA.¹ (Katie Irene Beecher was born on 24 Jan 1892 in York, York, PA,^{4 13 14 15} died on 8 Nov 1953 in York, York, PA ^{4 15} and was buried on 11 Nov 1953 in York.: Mount Rose Cemetery, York, PA ^{4 15}.)
