Mrs. Elizabeth Beecher is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Miller, Chambersburg R. D. 1, and Mr. Beecher is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John S. Beecher, Newville R. D. 1.
Their children attending were Miss Leona Beecher, Gerald T. Beecher, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Widney, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beecher, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Frengel, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Ashburn, Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell and Dr. and Mrs. Philip Gallucci.

Samuel A. Beecher, 78, R.R. 1, died Thursday, March 8, 1984, at 8:45 p.m., at home.
Born Oct. 28, 1905 in Penn Township, Cumberland County, he was the son of the late John S. and Carrie Gilbert Beecher.
Mr. Beecher was a former owner of the S.A. Beecher and Son Roofing and Spouting Co. He retired in 1968.
He was a member of Centerville Lutheran Church, Cumberland County, Big Spring Lodge No. 361, Free and Accepted Masons; Hub City Club and Walnut Bottom Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth J. Miller Beecher; two sons, Richard of R.R. 2, and Gerald of Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg; six daughters, Leona of R.R. 1, Chambersburg, Margaret Widney of Hagerstown, Md., Mary Frengel of R.R. 1, Joan Ashburn of Carlisle, Nancy Campbell of R.R. 1, and Rebecca Gallucci of Rye, N.H.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Herman of Camp Hill; and one sister, Viola Russell of Honeybrook.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Norman H. Bricker Funeral Home, 142 E. King St. The Rev. Robert A. Griffith will officiate.
Burial will be in Centerville Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Centerville Lutheran Church, R.R. 1, Newville.
