She was born in Pine Grove Mills, Centre county, April 4, 1851. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Effie Krape and Miss Billy Bucher. Funeral services and burial were conducted in Akron, Wednesday.

4. Obituary: Democrat Watchdog on 6 Jan 1928 in Bellefonte, Centre, PA. 2 Bucher -- Mrs. Emma E. Bucher, a native of Centre county, died at her home in Akron, Ohio, on December 19th, as the result of a stroke of paralysis, several days previous. Her maiden name was Emma E. Pifer and she was born at Pine Grove Mills on April 4th, 1851, hence was in her 77th year. In 1873 she married Adam Bucher and the first few years of their married life were spent in Ferguson township. Later they moved to Altoona where they lived thirty-five years and fourteen years ago moved to Akron. Mrs. Bucher died nine years ago but surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Effie Krape and Miss Lillie, both of Akron. Burial was made at Akron on December 21st.


Emma married Adam Bucher, son of Peter Bucher and Elizabeth Anna Felty, in 1873 in , Centre, PA.1 2 (Adam Bucher was born on 22 Nov 1849 in Fredericksburg, Lebanon, PA,3 7 8 9 10 11 died on 10 Jul 1919 in Akron, Summit, OH 2 10 11 and was buried in Akron: Mount Peace Cemetery, Summit, OH, USA 11.)
