Mrs. Clara E. Bingaman, of West Windsort stret, through Counsel M. Bernard Hoffman, has started divorce proceedings against Allen Bingaman, of Franklin street, and Judge Wagner granted a subpoena.
The couple were married December 29, 1896. Mrs. Bingaman alleges that for 10 whole years before she left her husband, on March 30, 1910, he treated her cruelly. She declares that on the day they separated he beat her so severly that she could scarcely turn around. She took their child and went to her parents.

Mrs. Clara E. (Beechert) Adams, 81, wife of Harvey Adams. died last night in her residence. 320 W. Green St.
Born in Host, a daughter of the late Cornelius and Sarah (Noll) Beechert, she was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ and the Service Mothers Club.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Adams is survived by a son, Gordon Golden, McKnight's Gap; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister and four brothers. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Parlors of T. C. Auman, Inc., with the Rev. LeRoy C Brumbaugh officiating. Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington.
