PERU, Ind., July 13 -- Word has been received here of the death of William G. Beecher, prominent Jefferson township farmer for many years, at his home in Santa Monica, Calif.
Mr. Beecher was a member of the M. E. church.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Nancy J. Beecher, a son Kenneth Beecher, of Mexico, and two grandchildren, Irvin and Mary Beecher, who were children of a deceased son, Dwight Beecher, and three brothers: C. W. Beecher, of Peru;.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock from the Church of Brethren, Mexico, Rev. V. L. Clear of Peru and Rev. Walter Bowsbaugh will officiate. Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Mexico.
