Earlier researchers conflict on which John Bucher married Elizabeth Gettig. Some suggest it is the John appearing in the 1820 Census in Sunbury born 1776-1794, others suggest that John had a father John born Bef 1765 who was married to Gettig. It is also possible there was only one John, not two. Further research is needed, as the proof previously found by earlier researchers is scarce.
