His wife was the late Eva M. Oxenreider Troxel. Born in Berks County, he was a son of the late John and Sara Strunk Troxel. He was a retired cement finisher and a member of Grace Independent Church. Surviving are four children: Jennie, wife of Robert Powell, Elizabethtown; Evelyn, wife of Raymond Smith, West Lebanon; Florence, wife of Clifford Roland, Lebanon, and Raymond C. Troxel of Lebanon; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Krall, Flintville, Mrs. Lillian Blantz of Lebanon, and Mrs. Elsie Krall of Jonestown, and one brother Lee Troxel, Lebanon RD.
