He was the husband of Joyce (Albright) Geesey. Mr. and Mrs. Geesey celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on December 22, 2012.

Born June 2, 1939, in York, he was the son of the late John E. and Dora (Kunkel) Geesey.

Jack was a retired safety manager for Columbia Gas. He was with the company for 36 years. He was a 1957 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and graduated from Elizabethtown College. Jack was a member of the White Rose Lodge No. 706 F & AM. and was a former member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, York.

In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by a son, Michael K. Geesey of Columbus, Ohio; and three cousins.

Memorial services will be held August 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul W. Baughman and the Rev. Paul Stambach. A visitation will be held August 29 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

A private burial will be held at Mount Rose Cemetery.

The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jack's young friend to help defray the cost of his recovery from a traumatic brain injury. Donations can be sent to Joshua Bonjo, 586 N.
