9. Obituary: Journal and Courier: obituary of Etta Beeker Gallaher on 16 Oct 1920 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe, IN, USA. 4 Charles W. Beeker, of Chalmers, received a telegram Saturday from Minneapolis announcing the sudden death of Mrs. Etta Beeker Gallaher, which occurred Friday in that city. Mrs. Gallaher, who was the youngest child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Beeker, was born in the old family homestead, near Battle Ground. She had lived in Minneapolis for many years. Besides one son, Charles, who lived with her, she leaves one brother, Charles W. Beeker, and three sisters, Mrs. John Nagle, of Brookston; Mrs. Sumner Baker, of Otterbein; and Mrs. Leroy S. Slocum, of West Lafayette. The body will arrive in Brookston Monday at noon and the funeral will be conducted from the Nagle home at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Burial at Pretty Prairie cemetery.
