She was married to James Crawford, to which union four children were born, one daughter dying eight years ago. The three: Mrs. J . F. Fetzer, of Clyde; J. E., of California, and James, of Nebraska, are left to mourn their loss, also 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was always a kind and loving friend and was loved by all who knew her. She has been a faithful member of the Free Methodist denomination for many years. She moved with her husband and children to Glen Elder, Kan., and homesteaded when Kansas was very thinly settled, enduring all the hardships of the early pioneers, and came through with her spirit never daunted. She was a good loving mother, and will be sadly missed by the ones she leaves behind. She and Mr. Crawford came to Clyde three years ago, Mr. Crawford passing away a year later, in November.
