He is predeceased by his loving wife Joyce (nee Beechert); father John and mother Mary; brothers William, Edward and Robert. He is survived by his devoted children: Lois, Catherine and her husband John, Brian and his wife Julie, Bruce, Robert and his wife Carol. Allen is also survived by 7 loving grandchildren: Daniel, Sarah, James, Matthew, Kevin, Anna and Claire, 1 great-granddaughter, Fenix; his loving sister Helen, his brothers and sisters-in-law and many loving nieces and nephews. Allen was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, during World War II, a service to his country that he regarded with extreme pride and honor. Allen always had a great zest for life and spread his abundant love throughout his family and friends. We will miss him very much. Visitation to be held at the THOMAS M. QUINN & SONS, INC., Funeral Home, 35-20 Broadway, LIC, NY 11106 on Sunday, 2-5 & 7-9 P.M. Mass of Christian burial, Monday at 9:30 A.M. at Corpus Christi RC Church, Woodside, NY.
