Beeker, 72, Rt. 3 Box 432, State Road 50 East, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church with the Revs. Lyle Rasmussen and William Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery at Odon.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the Gill Funeral Home and Masonic memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
He died at 11:17 a.m. Wednesday at the Daviess County Hospital.
He was born June 10, 1914 in Daviess County to Louda and Tessie Fox Beeker. He married Rita Ainscough Jan. 3, 1931 and she survives. He attended Epsom Schools and was a retired conductor for the B & O Railroad working 32 years. He owned and operated Circle B Horse Farm. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Charity Lodge No. 30 F & AM, Scottish Rite at Evansville, and Hadi Shrine at Evansville.
Surviving are his wife and two daughters and five sons, Mrs. Henry (Frances) Allen, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Howard (Sandra) Sowl, Speedway, Kenneth E. Beeker, Evansville, Melvin L. Beeker, London, Ky., M. Ray Beeker, Phoenix, Ariz., and Harry A. and J. Darrel Beeker, both of Columbus, Ind., 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Edna Dougherty, Silver Springs, Fla. One son, one grandson and three sisters have died.

WASHINGTON -- Services for Ora L. Beeker, 72, who died at 11:17 a.m. Wednesday at Daviess County Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. (EST) tomorrow at Christ United Methodist Church, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon. Surviving are his wife, Rita; daughters Frances Allen of St. Louis and Sandra Sowl of Speedway; sons, Kenneth of Evansville, Melvin of London, Ky., Ray of Phoenix, Ariz., and Harry and Darrell, both of Columbus; a sister, Edna Dougherty of Silver Springs, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Gill Chapel.
