Mrs. Julia Morrow, aged 54 years, wife of Mervin Morrow, of Cisna Run, died suddenly Saturday at 9.15 p. m. of a heart attack. She was a daughter of Charles F. and Matilda C. Beecher Black, and was born in Bendersville and reared at Walnut Bottom, Cumberland county. She was married at Huntsdale, July 6, 1898 by the Rev. Cyrus Brindle, to Mr. Morrow, of Cumberland county. The past five years they have resided at Cisna Run, where Mr. Morrow is employed by the Tuscarora Oil Company, at the pumping station. She was a member of the United Brethren Church of Duncannon and a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Sunday School in Madison township. Surviving her are her husband, three daughters and four sons, namely, Mae, Mrs. George Hohl, of Duncannon; Lester, of Lebanon; Miss Pearl, teaching in Duncannon; Miss Olive, teaching in Claymont, Delaware; Alvin, a student of Pennsylvania State College; Norman and Kenneth, at home. One son, Robert B., is dead; also surviving are three grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. P. E. Kiehl, and three brothers, Frank W. Black, both of Walnut Bottom, and William R. Black, of Lisburn, Ohio, and James E. Black, of Pittsburgh. The funeral was held Tuesday at 2 p. m. from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hohl, with services in the United Brethren church, Duncannon, her pastor, Rev. H P. Baker, officiating, assisted by Rev. J. F. Snyder, a United Brethren minister of Shiremanstown; burial in the Evergreen cemetery, Duncannon.
