Mrs. Beeker was born in Neva, Tennessee, but was a resident of Durham for most of her life. She was the wife of the late Henry Hill Beeker and was a homemaker. Mrs. Beeker was a member of Dukes Chapel United Methodist Church.

A Funeral Service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Clements Funeral Chapel by Rev. Patrice Cheasty-Miller. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Clements Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00.

Surviving are four sons, Preston Hill Beeker of Maxton, Jan Thomas Beeker of Durham, Frank G. Beeker of Richmond and Jerry Lentz Beeker of Raleigh; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
