ROCKWELL -- Mrs. Ruth Beaker Lentz, 68, of Miller Road, died Friday at N.C. Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Summersett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Nelson, pastor of Saint James Lutheran Church, where she was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Rowan Memorial Park.
She was a native of Rowan County and was educated in the county schools. She was employed by Norman Draperies as a seamstress before her retirement. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Rockwell.
Surviving are son, John Lentz of Rockwell; brother, A.C. Beaker of Cleveland; sisters, Mrs. Clyde Hartman of Kannapolis, Mrs. Mae Childress of Mooresville, Mrs. Ernest Kendrick of Charlotte.
