1. Newspaper: Bristol Daily Courier: Constance Beecher Hit By Car; Is Improving, 1 May 1944, Bristol, Bucks, PA. 2 Newportville, May 1 - A tot of four years was injured when she is said to have crossed Newportville Road in the path of an automobile last evening.
The injured is Constance Beecher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rene Beecher, of Newportville. Her injuries consist of lacerations of the scalp, forehead, legs and arms.
The accident occured near the Beecher home. Constance and her brother running across in the path of the machine, according to police records. The small brother was not struck.
Constance was taken to the Warner hospital, Bristol, by the driver of the machine. Arthur M. McDonald Jr., of Ford avenue, Holmeville. After treatment she returned to her home.
The investigating officer was Pvt. Sawyer, of South Langhorne barracks, Penna. State Police.
