The marriage of Virginia McIntosh Beecher, daughter of Mrs. McIntosh Beecher of Denniston Avenue and Walter McAleese Beecher to Oliver Blair, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Blair of Ligonier, was solemnized yesterday afternoon at 4:30 in the chapel at Pennsylvania College for Women.
The ceremony was performed by the Reverend W. Bruce Wilson of the Sunset Hills United Presbyterian Church.
The bride was graduated from the Winchester-Thurston School and attended PCW.
Joanne Roush attended the bride and Abram Packer Hays, Jr., was best man.
Mr. Blair is a graduate of Billard Academy and attended Lafayette College. He is now stationed at Lowry Field at Denver with the Army Air Force.
They will live in Denver, Col.

Beecher on 28 Jan 1988 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA. ⁴ Virginia Mcintosh Beecher, 85, social director at the Presbyterian Home for the Aged in Oakmont from 1965 to 1978, died there Tuesday of a stroke. She had been a librarian at Chatham College from 1952 to 1959. Mrs. Beecher of Bayard Road, Shadyside, was a member of Eastminster United Presbyterian Church, East Liberty. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Saturday in Eastminster Presbyterian Church, followed by the service at 11 a.m.
