Among others present were: Eugene Flemming and daughter Julia. and sons Louis and Francis; Mrs. Ida Neuderffer; Augustus Knabb and wife and daughter Rosa: Mr. and Mrs. Christ Weidnaur: Samuel W. Frescoln, Jr.; Misses Maud and Edith Frescoln; Dr. Fred. Grander and wife; Horace Grander and wife and daughter Edna; Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Ely; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bennethum; Mrs. Bert Grim; Miss Bertha Mittower; Miss Laura B. Embich, of Lebanon; Mr. John M. Kaley, of Lebanon; Harry G. Miller; Misses Witman. Vocal and instumental music was rendered on the piano by Harry G. Miller. Miss Bertha Mittower, Misses Maggie, Maud and Edith Frescoln, Samuel W. Frescoln, Jr., and Thomas W. Frescoln. Among the presents were a fine water service, lemonade set, silver service, table linen, and cutlery, counterpanes, and many other useful things. Refreshments were served and a pleasant time was enjoyed by all present.

9. Obituary: The Mercury: obituary of David O. Flemming on 5 Nov 1949 in Pottstown, Montgomery, PA. 11 DAVID O. FLEMMING, 84, of 530 WALNUT STREET, ROVERSFORD, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning, following an extended illness. Born at Lebanon, son of the late Oscar and Amelia Flemming, he lived here the past 65 years. He was employed many years at the Buckwalter Stove company, until he retired about three years ago, because of his health. Mr. Flemming was a member of the Owls, Pottstown, and Friendship Fire company, Royersford. Surviving are his wife, Sallie (Grander) Flemming; a daughter, Rhea, at home; a son, D. Merrill Flemming, 532 Walnut street; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in a funeral home at 367 Walnut street, Royersford, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in Fernwood cemetery.
