He retired as a shop foreman at Jones Motor company, Spring City, in 1966 after working there 48 years. He was a life member of Liberty Fire company, Spring City. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from Shalkip Funeral home, 135 Bridge street, Spring City. The Rev. Daniel Davis, pastor of Brownback's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran church cemetery, Spring City. A viewing will be tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Oliver married Rhea May Flemming, daughter of David Oscar Flemming and Sallie H.
