He was discharged after treatment and surgeons said it was probable that his thumb would be saved.

Born in Bethel Twp., Berks Co., on February 27, 1940, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bicher.

Warren was a carpenter by trade and worked for the Carpenter and Millwrights Union Local #287, retiring in 2002.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a current member of the ABD Hunting Camp in West Pike, Potter County. He was also a member of the Perseverance Fire Co., Camp Strause Fire Co. and the Fredericksburg Legion.

He is survived by children: Dale R., and his wife, Jodi, of Richland, Christine, wife of Carl Moyer, of Lebanon, Kathleen, wife of Kurt Lorah, of Bernville, Sharon, wife of Rod Dale, of Myerstown, Jason A. Bicher and Janelle, wife of Brian Hershey, of Lebanon; grandsons: Travis, Kyle, Grant, Derek, Ethan and Liam.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be held from 9:30 until the start of the service. Interment will follow at Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, Ebenezer.
