Census in 1900 in Cumru Twp., Berks, PA. 12 The 1900 census recorded farmer John Beecher, 45 born Jan 1855, living with his wife of 22 years, Susanna, 48, Dec 1851; daughter Ellen Keffer, 19, Aug 1881; and newly-married son-in-law John Keffer, 21, Jun 1879. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. 2. Census in 1910 in Brecknock Twp., Lancaster, PA. 1 John Bicher, age 55, appears in the 1910 Census in Brecknock Township married to Susan, 57. The record shows they were married 32 years and had two children, both of whom were still living in 1910. He is a farmer, and John and Susan speak only German! A niece is also living in the household. 3. Cause of Death: myocarditis, 30 Jan 1929, Spring Twp., Berks, PA. 9 4. Obituary: Reading Eagle: obituary of Susanna Zinn Bicher on 1 Feb 1929 in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. 6 Denver, Feb. 1--Susanna (Zinn), widow of John Bicher, died at the home of her daughter Ellen, wife of John Keffer, near Adamstown, of heart failure, aged 77 years, 1 month and 11 days. She is survived by one daughter, Ellen, wife of John Keffer; one son, Howard Snader, of Bowmansville; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one sister, Sophia, wife of James Wenrich, of Bowmansville. Funeral on Monday at 1:30 from the Keffer home, and at 2 o'clock at Muddy Creek Church. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. A. W. Leibersperger, of Ephrata, will officiate. Funeral Director H. M. Mellinger, of this place, has charge.
