Shaw, 54, of 3003 East Chicago Street, who died Saturday at his home, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 pm at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel by the Rev. Walden Askren, First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Middleton. Mr Shaw was born Aug. 11, 1911, in Boise and moved with his family to Emmett at the age of five years, living there until 1934. He was married to Gene Knight on Nov. 16, 1934. He worked for the Bureau of Reclamation at Nyssa, Ore., Emmett and in Riverton, Wyo. In 1942 he served as chief engineer for the Army Engineers at Gowen Field near Boise. The family moved to Caldwell in 1943. Mr. Shaw was associated with the McNeel Lumber Company for several years then began a career as architectural designer and decorator. For the last two years he has been representative for the Cuckler Steel Span Buildings. Mr. Shaw was one of the founders of the Boulevard Christian School, was cofounder and owner of Radio Station KBGN in Caldwell. Mr. Shaw was active in the leadership of the First Baptist Church of which he has been a member for 21 years. He was a member of Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, Salvation Army board (past member) and Christian Business Men's Committee. Survivors include his wife, three sons: Mark, Edwin and Richard of Caldwell; two daughters: Mrs. Judy Davis and Helen Shaw both of Caldwell; two brothers: Dwight T. Shaw, Arlington, Va., and Homer J. Shaw, Riverton, Wyo; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Everson, St. Petersburg, Fla. The family requests that memorials be given to Christian Broadcasting Company, KBGN, Caldwell.
