Lillian May (Gear) Beecher passed on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Aria Torresdale Hospital to be with her loving husband, the late John Beecher Sr. She was 84.
Born in Philadelphia, Lillian was a resident of Bensalem for four years and was formerly of the Glenville section of Wilmington and Philadelphia.
She was a homemaker.
Lillian will be sadly missed by her children, John "Jack" Beecher Jr. (Marlene) of Wilmington, Del. and Florence Costa-Baker (Tom) of Andalusia, Pa.; one nephew, Paul Spingler of Oxford, Pa.; one sister, Ruth Bright of Florida; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at noon Friday at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held privately.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Red Cross, 2221 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.


Lillian married John Franklin Beecher Sr., son of Frank Elsessor Bleacher Jr. and Marie K. Harvey, in 1945 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. (John Franklin Beecher Sr. was born on 18 Nov 1923 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA 3 5 6 7 and died on 23 Nov 1997 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA 7.)
