Also with them is Harriet's daughter, Frances Jacobs, Oscar's grand neice, 21. They were born in Pennsylvania and lived in the same place in 1935.

2. Obituary: Morning Call: obituary of Frances J. Keiper on 17 Jan 2002 in Allentown, Lehigh, PA. 4 Frances J. Keiper, 83, of 715 Northampton St., Hellertown, died Jan. 16 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of David F. Keiper.

An English teacher, she taught seventh and eighth grades for the Hellertown School District. She was a 1940 graduate of Moravian College, where she performed in theatrical productions, and was a member of the college's alumni association.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Harriet (Krause) Hine.
[Editor's note: this is a misprint of confused info; she was the step-daughter of Harry J. Hine, and actual daughter of Harry Burton Jacobs and Harriet E. Krause who were briefly married.]

She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown, where she was a member of the Bible study group, former director of the junior choir and drama groups, and a Boy Scout den mother.

She was director of the Hellertown Centennial headquarters in 1972 and a story teller at Bethlehem Area Public Library for many years.

Survivors: Husband; sons, Jeffrey D. of Allentown, Gary F. of Whitehall Township; daughter, Gwendolyn K. Singer of Hellertown; five grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday.

Contributions: To the church or Saucon Valley Community Center, Hellertown.
