George Handy Truitt, was heard. The cause for the action was desertion and non-support. Mrs, Truitt testified that she lived In Salisbury, Md. at the time of the desertion, which took place In August, 1920. A few days after she moved to Lewes, this county, where she has since resided with her sister. The court reserved decision in the case until her attorney, Andrew J. Lynch, produced another witness to prove the time they have been separated.

9. Obituary: The Morning News: Laborer at Salisbury Fatally Hurt In Fall on 23 Oct 1951 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE. ⁸ Salisbury, Md., Oct. 22 -- (Special) -- George H. Truit, 69-year-old laborer, died in Peninsula General Hospital Saturday from injuries suffered in a fall.
Truitt tumbled down outside the Mayflower Grill on Main Street Friday evening. His death came about eight hours later from a head injury. The cause of the fall could not be determined.
Formerly of Parsonburg, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Williams and Mrs. Katherine Wright, Wilmington. Also a sister, Mrs. Bennie Perdue, in Parsonburg.
Funeral services were held today.

George married Sarah Rebecca Brittingham, daughter of Asariah Brittingham and Mary Melissa Elizabeth Parker.
