Lexington, Jan. 3 - Guilford W. Beeker, 55, of Route 4, Lexington, died today at his home of a heart attack. He was a lumber company foreman. Surviving are his father, A. E. Beeker of Route 4; wife, former Dora Hinkle; one daughter, Miss Lela Beeker of the home; three brothers, Preston Beeker of Winston-Salem, Harvey Beeker of Welcome, and George Beeker of Raleigh; two sisters, Miss Beula Beeker of Route 4, and Mrs. H. H. Miller of Salisbury. Funeral will be held Thursday at 4 p. m. at Welcome Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. O. M. Hartman and Rev. J. P. Hornbuckle, Jr. The body will be carried to the funeral home half hour before funeral. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
