Martha was born February 22, 1933 to Harvey P. and May Beeker. She was raised in Welcome, N.C. where she attended public school. She moved to Washington D.C. after graduation and worked as a secretary for AAA in Washington, D.C. and later for the Maryland National Park and Planning Commission. Martha married Foy Williams and they resided in West River.
Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shady Side. In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was also an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Williams on June 5, 1999.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Osborne and wife, Sue of West River, and Mike Osborne and wife, Kelley C. of Gaithersburg; five grandchildren, Katie Holson (Dave), Blair Osborne, Marcy Osborne (Rick Holson), Jessica and Rebecca Osborne; and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Osborne-Sukalo and Tony and Jaxson Holson. She is also survived by one sister, Cynthia Blankenship of Texas.
Friends may call on Friday, November 26 from 10-11 a.m. at Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 8325 Mt. Harmony Lane, Owings, MD and where funeral services and a celebration of Martha's life will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, MD.
