She had been in ill-health for several months. The body is at the Hanes Funeral home pending completion of arrangements.
A native of Davidson county she was a daughter of the late Daniel M. and Lindy Cornelius Beeker, but had resided in Greensboro for many years. She was a member of Caraway Memorial church.
Surviving are her husband, R. B. Stacy; two sons, R. B. Stacy, Jr., city and Cpl. Woodrow E. Stacy, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas; six daughters, Mrs. Brantley Hight, Asheboro; Mrs. Vernon W. Rook, Hillsboro; Mrs. George A. Younce, Mrs. A. J. Kinney, Misses Edith and Sue Elaine Stacy, all of Greensboro; four brothers, Oscar Beeker, Albemarle; R. Beeker, Welcome; Carl and Jeff Beeker, Greensboro; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Campbell, Sanford, and Mrs. Prince Parris, Pine Bluff; and seven grandchildren.
