Beeker, 75, 1303 Cypress Street, died at his home at 7 a.m. today after two weeks illness. He was a native of Rockingham County but had resided in Greensboro for 35 years where he was a textile worker. He was a member of Eller Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Lydia Ritter; one son, Carl Beeker Jr., of Greensboro; two brothers, Rastus Beeker of Welcome, and and O. J. Beeker of Albemarle; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Paris of Pine Bluff and Mrs. Bessie Campbell of Danville, Va.
Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Forbis and Murray Chapel with Rev. John Edwards, pastor of Eller Memorial Baptist Church, and Rev. Riddle, pastor of Revolution Baptist Church in charge of the service. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. The body will remain at Forbis and Murray Funeral Home until the hour of service.

Carl married Lydia J. Ritter, daughter of Elias Spinks Ritter and Mary Elizabeth Brady, on 30 Nov 1921 in Revolution, Guilford, NC, USA.¹ (Lydia J.
