Resident of Greensboro for 21 Years Passes At Her Residence in Edgeville

Mrs. Lunda Beeker, 81, died at 7:30 o'clock last night at her residence on Redwood avenue, Edgeville, after illness of nine weeks. Death was attributed to infirmities of old age and the effects of a fall which she sustained several weeks ago.
Mrs. Beeker who was a devoted member of Eller Memorial Baptist Church, Proximity, had been a resident of Greensboro for 21 years, moving here from Salisbury. She was well known and highly regarded throughout the Edgeville community.
Surviving are her husband, D. M. Beeker, three daughters, Mrs. G. G. Campbell, Danville, Va.; Mrs. R. B. Stacey, of White Oak, and Mrs. P. B. Paris, of Greensboro; four sons, A. E. Beeker, of Welcome; C. S. Beeker, of Proximity; O. J. Beeker, of Albemarle, and J. F. Beeker, of Greensboro.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. The body will be removed to the residence this afternoon from Stansbury and Rackley funeral home.

Funeral service for Mrs. Lunda Beeker, 81, who died Monday night at her home, 1500 Ridgewood avenue, Edgeville, was conducted at the residence yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. J. S. Hopkins, pastor of Eller Memorial Baptist church, Proximity.
Interment was in Green Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were Lloyd Smith, Woodrow Stacey, Ralph Beeker, Julius Beeker, Cleve Campbell and Gilford Beeker, all grandsons of Mrs. Beeker. Mrs. R. R. Beeker was in charge of the flowers.
Mrs. Beeker, who moved here from Salisbury, had been a resident of Greensboro for 21 years. She was well known and highly regarded in the Edgeville community.


Helen married Daniel Monroe Beeker, son of Samuel Beeker and Ellen J.
