Lingenfelter, 4, living in the household of Rhoda's father-in-law, Arthur Lingenfelter, locomotive engineer, 52; his wife Emma J., 49; and their children: Howard C., 29; Charles H., 27; George I., 24; Bruce H., 18; Allen, 14, Helen S., 12; and Stanley A., 10. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. The census column indicates Rhoda was married and had birthed 3 children and 2 were alive in 1910. Emma had birthed 8 children and 7 were alive.

2. Census in 1930 in Logan Twp., Blair, PA. The 1930 census recorded Frederick C. Holmes, 40, born in West Virginia, living with others all born in Pennsylvania: wife Rhoda, 46, and children William 19; Jennie, 17; Wallace, 16; Eva, 13; and Amos, 13. Also in the home is step-daughter Emma Lingenfelter. [Note: Emma is the daughter of Rhoda whose husband died in 1918. Frederick's children are by his first marriage, Rhoda being his second wife. In 1929, step-daughter Emma birthed a daughter, Vyvian Alice Holmes, whose obituary identifies her step-father Federick C. Holmes as her father.].

3. Fact: The evidence establishes that Rhoda Alice Kelley married Howard C. Lingenfelter in 1902, and he died in 1918. Following his death, Rhoda became the second wife of Frederick C. Holmes, who in 1929 sired a child Vyvian Alice with his step-daughter, Rhoda's daughter Emma Pearl Lingenfelter, who was living with Frederick and Rhoda in 1930 census. Vyvian married David Clay Beecher and her obituary reveals her father was actually her step-father, F. C. Holmes, and mother Rhoda Ligenfelter.
