LEXINGTON -- Mrs. Ora Sherrill Beeker, 70, wife of Glenn B. Beeker, of Rt. 5, died Monday at Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, after eight months' illness. Funeral will be 4 p.m. today at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Tyro.
She was a native of Catawba County and a retired employe of Hanes Hosiery Mill, Winston-Salem.

Ora married Glenn Busby Beeker Sr., son of Charles Lloyd Beeker Sr. and Mary Lula Giles.
