Mrs. Segner is a sister of Mrs. Wes Bachtel, of this place, and is stopping with her for a few days. The deceased was a son of George L. Segner formerly in business in Waterloo.

Oct 8, 1858, died at LaGrange, Ill., Aug. 1, 1909, 7:20 p. m. Bro. Segner moved with his parents to Waterloo, Ind., at six years of age. He was reared in a Christian home and lived a moral life. Through the influence of the young lady who afterwards became his wife, he was led to Christ in a prayer meeting. He was baptized and joined the M. E. church at Summersett Center, Mich. To this union were born three children, Otto, who now lives at Riply, Oklahoma, Clarence of Troop E 14th Cavalry, of San Francisco, and Mrs. Joseva M. Packer, of LaGrange, Ill. He also leaves three grandchildren, father, and one brother living. One brother, two sisters and mother preceded him to the spirit world. Bro. Segner spent most of his life in the employment of R. R., and agent for L. S. & M. S. 15 years, The Wheeling & Lake Erie, and last C. B. & Q. He was faithful to the trust until the end. Burial took place in the Waterloo cemetery, Aug. 3, 1909.

Stoner and Hannah Myers, on 26 Jan 1883 in Hillsdale, Hillsdale, MI, USA.1 2 (Mary Minerva Stoner was born on 27 Apr 1859 in Elkhart, Elkhart, IN,1 2 5 died on 12 Sep 1916 in Stillwater, Payne, OK, USA 5 6 and was buried in Waterloo: Waterloo Cemetery, DeKalb, IN, USA.)
