Volunteers; enrolled 8 Nov. 1861 at Burkesville for three years, mustered 31 Mar. 1862 Gallatin TN, missing in action at Gallatin TN 21 Aug. 1862. Left sick at Bridgeport AL of smallpox. He was 25 when he died. Born Sullivan Co. TN; 5' 8", blue eyes, fair comp., light hair, farmer.
