VISALIA -- Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Hadley Chapel for Mrs. Florence Adelsbach, 71. Cremation will follow in the Chapel of the Light in Fresno.
Mrs. Adelsbach was born in Ohio and lived in Lemoncove as a child. She attended school in Visalia, and later spent several years in Fresno before returning to Visalia to make her home. Her first husband, Roscoe H. Henry, a planing mill owner, died in 1936. She was married to John Adelsbach in 1942. He died in 1946. She served as a nurse's aide in local hospitals and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Helling of Visalia; a stepson, Dr. Albert Adelsbach of Vidalia; a step-daughter, Mrs. Viola Archer of Corcoran; two brothers, H. H. Schwarman of Stockton and W. F. Schwarzman of Hanford; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Florence married Roscoe Haven Henry, son of Robert Albert Henry and Mary Ferguson, about 1918 in Visalia, Tulare, CA. (Roscoe Haven Henry was born on 25 Jul 1890 in Visalia, Tulare, CA,10 11 died on 16 Jan 1937 in Visalia, Tulare, CA 1 12 and was buried in Visalia: Visalia Cemetery, Tulare, CA.)
