Viewing will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Monson was born March 18, 1920, in York. She was the daughter of the late John H. and Lillie M. (Beecher) Paules. She was employed for several years as an accountant and office manager at G.H. Crumling Illustrators, retiring in 1985. Previously, she worked in the billing department at Fulton Mehring and Hauser Co., the Barnhart Associates as a comptroller, stockholder and a member of the board of directors. She was a 1938 graduate of West York Area High School. She was a member of First Moravian Church, former member of the Order of Eastern Star and belonged to several card clubs in the York area. Mrs. Monson is survived by a son, Norman J. Monson Jr. of York; a daughter, Linda R. Witmer of FYeder-icksburg, Va.; four grandchildren; a brother, Robert B. Paules of York; and a sister, Dorothy P. Roller of York. Memorial contributions may be made to First Moravian Church, 41 N. Duke St. York 17401.
