Allen, teacher, 25, Mar 1874. William and his parents were born in Virginia. Florence and her father were born in Ohio and her mother in Pennsylvania. Maud and Harry were born in Kansas. Walter J. was born in Indiana, his father in Ohio and mother in Pennsylvania.

Obituary: Manhattan Republic: Fortune Funeral Saturday on 25 Dec 1924 in Manhattan, Riley, KS, United States. ⁸ The body of William Fortune, Zeandale, who died recently, was brought to Manhattan for burial Saturday. Mr. Fortune died in Lynchburg, Virginia. A short service was held at Sunset cemetery at 2:30 o'clock.
