Obituary: Obituary of Gretchen Loiuise Beicher on 22 Apr 2010 in Verona, Dane, WI, USA. 2 Verona - Gretchen Louise Beicher, age 52, passed away unexpectedly while at her home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Gretchen was born on July 17, 1957 in Madison, the daughter of Roland and Shirley (Essenmacher) Gutknecht. Gretchen was employed as a business manager for the UW Medical Foundation for the past 19 years. Gretchen enjoyed traveling and will always be remembered as a dog lover and as a hard worker. Survivors include her husband, Thomas; 4 children, Erich (Jennifer) Beicher, Danielle, Karl and Michael Beicher; 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Landon Beicher; her mother-in-law, Dolores Beicher; a sister, Roxane Knodle and her two dogs, Kosmo and Kramer. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles Knodle. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family in her memory. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 301 N. Main Street, Verona WI on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Fr. William Vernon celebrating. A visitation will also be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will conclude at the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
