Census in 1940 in Eaton, Delaware, IN. 1 The 1940 census recorded renting at 39 Harris Street: Edith Beecher, 46, living with daughter Marie Harrington, 24; grandson James R. Harrington, 5; and lodger Charles Smith, mechanic, 36. Everyone was born in Indiana except James in Wisconsin. In 1935 Edith was living in Hartford City, Indiana, and Marie in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
