(Jessie) Snider, with whom she made her home. Mrs. Beecher was in ill health for the past two years.
She was born June 27, 1880, in Dime (Parks Twp.), a daughter of Franklin and Martha Ellen (Stoops) Ashbaugh. She was married to Charles N. Beecher, who died Sept. 24, 1924. A resident of Leechburg RD 3 for 20 years, Mrs. Beecher formerly lived in Apollo.
A member of the First Methodist Church at Leechburg, she was also a member of Sheffield Sunday School Class there. Mrs. Beecher was named Kiski Valley Mother-of-the-Year in 1965.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Katherine) Riggle of Burrel Twp., Ford City RD 3, Mrs. Sterling E. (Jessie) Snider of Leechburg RD 3; two stepsons, Lynn W. Beecher of Omaha, Neb., Donald R. Beecher of Largo, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Andrew J. (Lucy) Hancock of Ford City RD 3; three granddaughters, 15 step-grandchildren, 23 step-great-grandchildren.

BEECHER -- Friends of Mrs. Sarah (Sadie) Isabelle Beecher of Weinels Crossroads, Leechburg RD 3, who died June 3, 1968, will be received at the Dean W. Cline Funeral Home, 260 Market St., Leechburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Wednesday. Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday (June 5, 1968) in the First Methodist Church at Leechburg, with Rev. George O. Elgin Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery at Apollo. Arrangements by Cline.
